More Bass Clef. I'm so happy I'm in my area. Since I play the cello and stuff. So Mister told us to copy some notes from the G Clef than translate it to the Bass Clef I was able to do it and I Did it all correct I even got the confirmation from Nigel. During Instrument class I played the Etude really well. Still got some mistakes and Mr. Sadrakh told me to work on it. The Next music session is the assessment I'm scared and excited at the same time. I hope i can do it.

Today was another performance practice. During My practice I did really well. But when I come in front of my classmates for the Practice Performance. I had stage freight and my hands and legs started shaking. Plus I still haven't got my glasses. So it was also hard to see. Thank God Rilya lend her glasses. I was able to see but since my hands was shaking some of the notes were out of tune also I screwed up the last part. So I need to be more confident and practice harder. During Instrument class only Eun Joo played I didn't do much and that conclude today Music Class.

It's a day after Nigel birthday. Plus all of us has blog problems. Most of the student in Music Class has issues on uploading our video. So we spent most of the time discussing about this. So some people tried to fix it and some people was just relaxing around. It was a long day. Than It was Instrument Class. I played Etude still need to do some work but I'm doing well.

We Focus on Bass Clef now. So it's getting pretty intense and since i play the cello i think they expect much from me but I'm really shy I was called to write the F,G,A,B Note for the Bass clef but i doubt myself and thus making a fool out of myself. I was actually correct though. Anyways we focus more on the our songs now since the assessment is a few weeks. So I practiced my etude in Instrument and I memorized it too so I'm doing pretty well.

This week we learned about something called the Ledger Line. The Ledger line is use when a note is higher than a bar and there aren't any line available we put the Ledger Line. So we did some exercises about the Ledger Line in G & F Cleffs. Also we played the string student played their instrument and apparently i loss my glasses so i can see the notes to play etude thus making it a horrible performance. So Mr. John suggested to get my eyes check we didn't do much in instrument class rather than practicing.

It's quite obvious what we did today. We were taught about Notations as usual. We were given handouts and we discuss about the clefs, intervals and notes. We took a quite long time so the string students didn't play their romantic songs and again we were postpone till Tuesday. So at music class i was kind of criticize of my Happy Farmer playing and they highly suggest me to play etude. So i decide to play etude and I'm doing pretty well.

So We learn about notations again. It's kind of more challenging now. I never thought that Notation would be so hard. There's something called Perfect 4th & 5th. Than we learned about Intervals and it's basically the same ongoing routine for the past couple of weeks. We didn't play our romantic since we weren't prepared yet so it was postpone on Thursday. So in Instrument class we practice hard for our romantic song. I'm attempting to do Happy Farmer by Schuman.

Mr. John told us that there was going to be a practical assessment. So each student had to play a song. They were doing a Practice performance. The people that played were the students from Guitar and Piano class. From guitar Darren played Canon In D than Matthew S and Rilya played a romantic era song and the students from piano Matthew W and Pinka played a romantic song composed by Schuman. For the string we weren't prepared yet so were postphone. We had Cake today since it's my birthday during instrument class. Everyone seemed to enjoyed it. After that we instantly went back on practicing with our romantic songs.

Today we got the scores of our Music Notation Quiz. Well I didn't do so well. I Think i got a 4/8. Which is horrible. Thank god that Mr. John is a kind teacher so i can redo the test. Other than that we reviewed the quiz and learn about other things In Notation. Than we had instrument class. I Played The C Major scale and Etude. Also 20/9/2012 is a holiday so there will be no blog for that day. It's the government election.

Well the quiz happen last week. So we haven't get our test scores yet. We did more notations. So review everything and it's basics. It's amazing I'm still able to remember. Nigel helped with the sharp and flats. He told me the pattern and helped me understand. I was able to play in the Instrument class. i did my etude but my finger keeps on sliding. So i probably need to work on that and that's probably it for today.

As you know Mr. John Is present so we did the Music Notation Quiz. In my opinion the Quiz was challenging. Yes people notation is harder than it looks. It is pretty complicated if you don't study hard enough. During the quiz i felt confident in the Inversions but i think i will get some mistakes in the Major Scales. We took a lot of time for the quiz so we didn't have an instrument class. Overall i was satisfied with the quiz and hope i will get a good score.
